Our trips are fun and very “hands-on”, engaging all participants and providing everyone with a unique and challenging experience. Climbers will learn all necessary safety skills for the outdoors along with terminology, climbing techniques and useful knots.
Our “adventures” are held at Devil’s Lake State Park (WI), Jackson Falls, (So. IL), Grange Ledge Park (MI) and a few other Midwestern locations – all with convenient camping nearby! NOTE: Locations other than Devil’s Lake can NOT be booked on-line and rates for these location are NOT the same as DL due to travel distance and staff availability. Call us for details and rates.

Join us on an exciting adventure, test your climbing skills at night under the glow of a headlamp and the stars. Enjoy hot chocolate & s’mores between climbs.
We will climb our best routes at our “secret” location near Coloma, WI, on a 3-hour event, starting at around SUNSET.
The only requirement is that you’ve climbed indoors or outdoors before.
All necessary equipment is provided, including guide, harness, helmet, and rock climbing shoes- climbing shoes NOT included with groups of 10 or more.

Full day climbing tours are great for those with lots of climbing gym experience or outdoor climbing under their belt. Climbers should be in great climbing condition for the Full Day tour.
Vertical Adventure offers top-roping programs that focus on the skills and unique experience of climbing outdoors on real rock cliffs. We offer trips at Devil’s Lake State Park(WI), Jackson Falls(So. IL), Grand Ledge Park(MI), and a few other locations in the Midwest all with convenient camping nearby. Participants will learn necessary safety skills for the climbing environment, along with terminology, climbing techniques, and useful knots.Trips are fun and engaging, providing a unique and exciting challenge for individuals of intermediate to advanced levels.
★ Maximum of 15-20 participants, depending on location.
★ There are many options for larger groups that can be discussed speciﬁcally with your group (different location, 2-day program, etc.).
★ Group sizes are limited due to environmental impact concerns and to allow for maximum participation.

★ Top-roping on at least 5-6 climbs, ranging from beginner to intermediate
★ Staff Belaying and Belay Introduction For climbers
★ Rappelling: Available upon advance request and if time permits

Half-Day Rock Climbing Adventure:
Vertical Adventure was the FIRST to offer the Half Day climbing tour in the Devil’s Lake area! We recommend the Half Day tour for those just starting out in climbing or with NO experience at all.

Max. group 20 for half day. More than 20 in group requires a FULL Day booking, ask for details if you have a large group and how we can structure your custom trip

Join Vertical Adventure at Camp Aero-Ridge located West of Devil’s Lake and relax as you arrive at the cabin to a campfire as well as having the option of enjoying our fresh homemade meals (meal plan optional). Or at Tall Pine center located near Lyndon Station, WI and Devil’s Lake with camping, cabins, climbing wall, and more! Nothing beats coming back from Rock Climbing or any adventure with VA and relaxing in a well appointed, rustic feeling cabin lodge. You will wake up refreshed ready for another day of adventure!
